dunno if this is of any help,couple of months ago mine would not open by the switch,would only open by the remote. after spending an age stripping everything off i checked the switch and it was fine,checked everything else and was scratching my head and then a horrible thought come into it,SURELY it being a fairly modern car it wouldnt be suffering from the dreaded wires in the gaiters like on
