No no no, source 2 episode 1. The next step is ray traced reflections and light sources in Half Life 2. (I am almost certain that this already exists) I saw a video where they put ray-traced effects in Black Mesa, although they could have just remade the scenes in Unreal or Unity.

As a continuation of the story of Half-Life 2, it's a good game and well worth a play, but it ends up just re-using almost all of its ideas from the original and most of its level design mimics the less enjoyable parts. I've made a copy of "steamapps>User>half-life 2 episode one>episodic>SAVE", but there's also "steamapps>common>Half-Life 2>episodic>save" which has similar contents, but a few extra files.
