No idea what (if any) Audi recommends for replacement. My SQ5 is older than yours. At present I have no plans to replace timing chain. At 100k miles, the car was service for a new rear main seal that had gone bad. When I asked them if the timing chain needed to be replace then, they said the timing chain would last the life of the vehicle. Obviously that is quite contradicting. Lastly, the quote from Audi to replace the timing chain was $1600.00.
I have just checked my service schedule and it only mentions the toothed belt on 1.9 TDI every 95k - 2.0TDI & 2.0 TFSI every 114k. No mention of the ancillary belt on the 2.7 & 3.0 TDI engines, so assume these don't get changed untill they break.

My 2010 MY 1.6TDI Manual states cambelt replacement interval is every 200,000 miles or 300,000 Kms without any time limit !
Those engines do not have the Timing Belt and a result do not have "forced" schedule to replace the water pump and other good stuff. Personally I could not find anywhere the information how often should be replaces the serpentine belt on 4.2 FSI engine, but it sounds like it may not needs to be replaced ether (Recommended chain replacement
